These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the TMT Appraisal website and your requests for appraisal services from TMT Appraisal LLC (“TMT Appraisal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our website or requesting our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Appraisal Services
TMT Appraisal provides residential real estate appraisal and related valuation services as described on our website or in a service agreement or engagement with the client.
Submitting an appraisal request through our website does not automatically create an appraisal engagement. We may review each request and determine whether we can accept the assignment.
An appraisal will be performed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, and the requirements applicable to the intended use of the appraisal.
2. Appraisal Requests and Quotes
Information submitted through our website is used to evaluate and respond to your appraisal request.
Any fee or price provided before an assignment is accepted is a quote or estimate and is subject to confirmation after reviewing the assignment details.
A quote does not guarantee that TMT Appraisal will accept the assignment or that an appraisal report will be completed.
We may request additional information before confirming the scope, fee, timing, or availability of an appraisal.
3. Scheduling
Appointments are scheduled based on availability and the requirements of the assignment.
A scheduled appointment may need to be changed or rescheduled because of circumstances including property access issues, weather, safety concerns, incomplete information, or other circumstances affecting the assignment.
You agree to provide reasonable access to the property when an interior inspection is required and to provide accurate information necessary to complete the assignment.
4. Fees and Payment
Fees for appraisal services will be communicated to the client before payment is required.
When online payment is available, payments may be processed through Stripe or another payment service identified during the payment process.
Payment does not guarantee acceptance of an appraisal assignment if the assignment has not yet been confirmed.
Additional fees may apply when the scope of an assignment changes or when additional work is requested or required. Any additional fee will be communicated to the client when reasonably practicable.
5. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation and refund terms may vary depending on the status of the assignment and work already performed.
If an assignment is cancelled after work has begun, the amount of any refund, if applicable, will be determined based on the work performed and costs incurred.
If an assignment cannot be completed because of circumstances outside TMT Appraisal’s reasonable control, we will communicate with the client regarding available options.
6. Customer Communications
By providing your contact information, you authorize TMT Appraisal to communicate with you regarding your appraisal request and services you have requested.
Communications may include email, telephone calls, and, when you separately opt in, text messages.
If you opt in to text messaging, messages may include quotes, scheduling information, appointment confirmations and reminders, requests for information or documents, payment-related information, and appraisal status updates.
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. Message and data rates may apply.
Text-message consent is voluntary and is not required to request appraisal services.
7. Website Information
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information on our website. However, website content is provided for general informational purposes and may change without notice.
Information on the website does not constitute an appraisal, valuation, legal advice, tax advice, investment advice, or a guarantee of any property’s value.
8. Property Information
You are responsible for providing information that is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
TMT Appraisal may rely on information provided by clients and other sources when performing appraisal services. We may request clarification or additional documentation when necessary.
9. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, website content, text, graphics, logos, images, and other materials provided by TMT Appraisal are owned by or licensed to TMT Appraisal and may not be reproduced, copied, modified, or distributed without permission.
10. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may use or link to third-party services, including payment, communication, scheduling, hosting, and other service providers.
Third-party services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. TMT Appraisal is not responsible for the independent practices or availability of third-party services.
11. Limitation of Liability
